An accessible and satisfying introduction, perfect for discovering ceramics without any prior experience. You will learn the basics of shaping (techniques, structures, finishes) and explore a more intuitive and sculptural approach, while maintaining a clear framework.
This 2.5-hour course is perfect for beginners or for practicing more and gaining confidence.
The initiation includes 2 pieces to be collected later, once the drying, glazing and firing stages have been completed by the studio.
Course outline: After an introduction to the fundamentals of handbuilding, you will learn to work with clay through different techniques, including pinching and slab building. You will be guided step by step in creating your pieces, at your own pace, in a supportive and creative atmosphere.The pieces will then be dried and fired at the studio.

Participants must be 13 years old and over
Après une introduction du cours et une démonstration, vous serez guidé·e pas à pas pour réaliser vos premières pièces.
En initiation chaque participant·e aura l’occasion de tourner ou façonner quelques pièces. Une seule (la préférée) sera ensuite séchée, émaillée et cuite à l’atelier.
Lors de sessions vous pouvez fabriquer une petite collection d'environs 7 pièces.
Les essais et erreurs font partie du processus ! Un temps est prévu en fin de séance pour le nettoyage de l’espace et des outils utilisés.
